Personality: Notes from second foster: Maggie gets very excited on her first walk of the day, but by the second or third walk, keeps trying to head back home and looks for the apartment entrance. She has an independent personality (when sleeping, she prefers to find a comfortable spot alone rather than staying right next to you). Greets other dogs well; may get scared around overly energetic or unusual dogs, but is not afraid of meeting new friends. Loves tearing paper.

Doesn’t bark much, but will bark at large, unfamiliar objects (especially those with wheels). Has recall. Doesn’t like being picked up and held high. Does okay in the car, but drools a bit. Noises spook her but she doesn’t overreact, just needs more exposure.

Note from rescuer: Maggie is a delightfully adaptable puppy who quickly makes herself at home wherever she goes! While her different foster families have noted varying observations about her behavior, this simply highlights her remarkable ability to adjust to new environments.

At her core, Maggie is an enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky puppy with boundless energy and an insatiable appetite for adventure. Whether exploring a new hiking trail, learning tricks in the backyard, or snuggling on the couch after a day of play, Maggie approaches life with tail-wagging enthusiasm.

Her flexible nature and resilient spirit make her an excellent companion for an active household ready to channel her puppy energy into positive experiences. Maggie's adaptability suggests she'll transition smoothly into her forever home while maintaining her playful, adventure-ready personality.

Are you ready to welcome this energetic ball of joy into your life? Maggie can't wait to adapt to her new favorite place – your home!
